Stress can come to us in many ways. A common source of stress is hypothetical scenarios. You have the ability to explore different possibilities that can arise in your real-life setting. Awareness of those possibilities will prepare you to face life. However, the big question that arises in our minds in the journey of exploring life possibilities is, "If it would happen, how/what will I...?" This hypothetical question and scenario can disturb your peace and keep you under stress. This kind of stress is not from a real situation. It may truly block your life journey to success. Understand that this kind of stress is not evidence-based or reality-based. Learn to live in the present. Face your future. It is time in your personal life to identify the stress that comes from hypothetical scenarios in your mental gymnastics.
As believers in Christ, we know that God is in control. Even if we cannot control certain things in our lives, God can control them. Jesus is the God of the present, past, and future. Trusting Him is the key to avoiding stress that comes from our hypothetical scenarios. He makes everything beautiful in His time. He will turn everything that we face for our good. Trust Him, commit your life into the hands of the Almighty, and move forward in your life. Though we do not know exactly what our future holds, we do know who holds our future—Jesus, our everlasting Savior and God of tomorrow. It simply means that no matter what is going to happen or what is going on in your life, God is in control—not the devil, the situation, or somebody else.
