“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (ESV) Matthew 5:4
There are situations where we are broken and tears are just falling. There are situations in our lives where
no one or nothing can comfort us. However, it is our assurance in God that all who are mourning will be
comforted by God. God is our comfort. He is with us and near to us when we are broken hearted. God
will not despise the broken and contrite in heart (Ps. 51:17). If we are going to a season of mourning and
brokenness, God also gives us his grace or enabling power to us to go through the situations. Jesus said
to Paul “my grace is sufficient for you.” Therefore, “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne
of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (ESV) Hebrews 4:16.
Let the comfort and peace of God come to every heart today in a fresh way.
