The Holy One, the True One, the One who has the key of David, who opens and no one will close, and
closes and no one opens says: (HCSB) Revelation 3:7
Opening and closing the doors in different aspects of our lives is the sovereign action of our God. Today the
Lord is impressing upon me to say that God will open the doors for you. “I will go before you and level
the uneven places; I will shatter the bronze doors and cut the iron bars in two” (HCSB, Isaiah 45:2).
Though closed doors are very strong like bronze or iron, God who goes before you will break such closed
doors for you. Paul testifies that “When I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ…. a door was
opened for me in the Lord” (ESV, 2 Corinthians 2:12). Malachi 3.10 says that God will open the doors of
blessings when we give tithe to God. God opens the doors for finance, ministry, relationships, job etc.
Keep knocking God in prayer, doors will be opened for you.
On the other hand, this verse gives an assurance that nobody can close the doors that God has given to
us. Nothing can close the God given doors in your life, even if tough seasons come. Do not have fear of
losing or closing God given opportunities, finance, job, ministry etc. God is in control.

[4] Consequently, scholars think that chapter 13 is out of place or it is a non-Pauline interpolation and literary critics even questioned the authorship of this chapter. [5] It is also suggested that Chapter 13 is a digression.
