God’s love is unconditional and eternal. In our Christian walk,
we may face many difficult things but we are not alone; Christ love covers us.
His love is not a memory or past event, rather God’s love is a present reality.
In Ps.136, Psalmist acknowledges that the enduring love of God sustained Israelites
during their difficult journey of from Egypt to Israel. His love sustains us in
every situation. His love brings “all things to work together for good, to
those who are called according to purpose” (Rom. 8:28). We are more than conquerors
in everything through his love. In every battle, let us sing the song that Jehoshaphat
and his people sung when they went for battle “ Give thanks to the Lord, for
his steadfast love endures forever” (Chr.21.21). Let us sing out loudly the
love of God over every hard thing that we face in order to overcome everything.
The eternal love of God and our eternal intimate relationship with Jesus is
greater than everything that we face in our lives. Nothing can separate us from
this eternal loving intimate relationship with Jesús.
