Wo/man after God’s own heart

…he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.’ (ESV) Acts 13:22

God testifies about David that he was a man after God’s own heart. David knew the heart of God. He was a real lover of God. David was a passionate pursuer or follower of God’s heart. He was a passionate seeker of God, passionate worshiper and passionately obeyed God. David was in close, intimate and
deeper pursuit of God. His hunger for God touched God’s heart. David wants more of God in him. Yes, more and more. He engaged with God in a passionate pursuit of Him. Going after and after God. Nothing stopped him and distracted him. He wanted to do what is in God’s heart.
Are we after God? How much you are after him?
